At thirteen, Pat inspired by watching his older brother playing the drums, he decided he wanted to play guitar. He started out wanting to play like the hero's of the day until, in his early twenties, he was invited to this thing called a Blues Jam. It was love at first note.
He cut his teeth at what is known as the Sidetracked Blues Jam in Poughkeepsie, NY, that churned out players that went on to play internationally with "The Nighthawks", "Levon Helm, and The Barn Burners", and "James Cotton", to drop a few names. Since then he has dedicated his talents to keeping an art form, a piece of Americana alive, by combining old school with the new, creating a unique blend of purity meets down and dirty. Twenty plus years and he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many artists that have made him a true host of the art form. He has accompanied Hubert Sumlin, gutairist for Howlin' Wolf, Pinetop Perkins, of The Muddy Waters Band, and has jammed many times with local icon, Little Sammy Davis. He's had a long term stations with Chrissie O'Dell, and the Soulmates, as well as Little Scotty and the Knockouts. Prepare to be entertained and shake your "Hoochie." |
